Chef/Cook, Nice Person, Animal Lover

Café Little Treasure is looking for an experienced chef/cook to assist the owners,
Erica & Chris, with our little daytime café.
 

Hours: Roughly 8am-4pm M, W, Th, F but flexible
Pay: $22+/hr depending on fit and qualifications

We are a small, community-focused restaurant dedicated to serving the freshest, tastiest, sometimes spiciest and always made-from-scratchiest food around. Our menu draws from our travels, our families, and the belief that we should all get to eat like we’re on vacation even in the middle of the work week.

We’re looking for an individual who enjoys working as part of a small team but thrives on independence. You’ll get to be yourself, take ownership and responsibility for aspects of daily operations, and bring your own creativity and perspective to the kitchen.

Skills & Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items in a timely manner
* Follow recipes and instructions accurately
* Pay attention to detail
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Follow safety protocols for food handling, cooking, and service
* Perform receiving and inventory control tasks
* Be willing to share in less glamorous work (like dishes)
 

Qualifications
• 2+ years professional kitchen experience
• Timely, reliable, and service-oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills – friendly, team player
• Flexible/accommodating attitude
